Cold-resistant protective cases for arctic and subarctic conditions. Temperature range to -55°C (8-series premium). MIL-STD-810H Method 502.7 low temperature: -51°C 7 days without seal failure, embrittlement, or content damage. Frost-resistant seals from silicone type VMQ (vinyl-methyl-silicone) to -60°C. Hinges from POM (polyoxymethylene) instead of PP, no breakage in cold. HD-PE 9-series especially for cold (-40°C standard, -55°C with HD-PE special compound). Applications: arctic research, antarctic expedition, Siberia pipeline, Alaska oil, Norwegian fishing, Scandinavia military. 8-series cold version: surcharge 20%.
