From initial inquiry to delivery, we keep you in the loop at every step. **Step 1: Inquiry & briefing (Day 1-3)** You send us: - A sketch, dimensioned drawing, or sample - IP rating, drop test, certifications needed - Color, logo, packaging preferences - Target quantity, lead time, budget We respond with: - A non-binding quote within 24 hours - Engineering questions if any - A timeline **Step 2: DFM review & sampling (Day 4-14)** For OEM (you design): - We review your 2D/3D CAD for manufacturability - We suggest improvements (draft angles, wall thickness, ribs, hinge alignment) - We produce a T1 sample for your approval For ODM (we design): - We propose 2-3 design concepts - We CAD them up in SolidWorks - We produce a T1 sample for your selection T1 sample lead time: 7-10 days. **Step 3: Tooling & sampling (Day 15-30)** After T1 approval, we build production tooling: - Steel or aluminum mold, depending on volume and material - T2 sample produced for final approval - T2 sample lead time: 5-7 days Tooling cost: USD 3,000-10,000 (refundable with order ≥ 50,000 pieces). **Step 4: Production (Day 30-70)** For OEM: 30-45 days from T2 approval. For ODM: 20-30 days from T2 approval (re-using existing tool when possible). Production includes: - PP / ABS / PC / aluminum injection - Foam cutting (CNC, water jet, or pick-and-pluck) - Assembly (latches, hinges, handles) - Per-lot QC (AQL inspection) - Per-lot drop test and IP test (if required) - Per-lot SGS / BV test reports (if required) **Step 5: Quality control** We apply AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) inspection: - AQL 1.0 for critical defects (water ingress, structural) - AQL 2.5 for major defects (latches, hinges) - AQL 4.0 for minor defects (cosmetic, color) Sample size: per ISO 2859-1. In-process QC (DUPRO): 30 % of order inspected. Pre-shipment inspection (PSI): 100 % of order inspected.
