Are your cases certified for ATEX/IECEx Zone 1?

By default, our cases are NOT ATEX/IECEx certified. They can be configured for ATEX Zone 2 (gas): anti-static PP+GF material (10^6 Ω surface resistance), stainless steel hinges, dissipative gasket. Certification done by third-party lab (TÜV/SGS/DEKRA), approximately 8-12 weeks, USD 12,000-18,000 per model. For Zone 1 or Zone 0, our standard cases are not suitable.

What temperature range can the cases handle for offshore operations?

Standard PP material: -30°C to +80°C operating, -40°C to +100°C storage. Pressure equalization valve (standard on 8-series and 9-series) prevents vacuum or pressure-differential stress during rapid temperature changes. For arctic deep-sea operations (-50°C) we offer PP+GF-10 material with low-temperature additive. For desert onshore (+60°C shade) standard cases sufficient.

Do you provide accompanying documents for customs clearance of instrumentation cases?

Yes. Per order: Commercial Invoice (HS code 3923.10 for cases, 3921.13 for foam), Packing List, Certificate of Conformity (CE / RoHS / REACH), Origin Certificate (Form A for GSP preferences, Form F for China-Pakistan FTA on request), Test Reports (IP67, MIL-STD-810H, Drop Test). On request: ATEX certificate, Material certificates 3.1 per EN 10204.

How long does delivery take to the Middle East?

Standard: FOB Shenzhen or Ningbo + sea freight. Lead time: 18-22 days to Jeddah/Dammam (Saudi), 20-25 days to Dubai (UAE), 22-28 days to Doha (Qatar). LCL (less-than-container) or FCL (20'/40' container). Air freight 4-6 days on request. We do NOT offer DDP nor overseas warehouse storage.
