Do you offer DDP shipping to the UK or Ireland?

No. Kexin never acts as importer of record, so we cannot quote DDP. For UK deliveries the buyer or the buyer's UK freight forwarder files the customs declaration, an EORI number is required, pays import duty and import VAT, and takes title to the goods on arrival. We can quote DAP instead, arranged through a freight forwarder of your choice, where that forwarder handles the paperwork while you stay the importer and pay duty and import charges. Ask us for the EXW and FOB options as well, because many buyers calculate landed cost themselves.

UKCA or CE marking — which one do UK buyers need in 2026?

It depends on where the case ends up. Great Britain accepts both UKCA and CE marking for the product groups covered by the current UK rules, so UKCA is optional in most cases. Northern Ireland currently follows EU rules, which means CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity apply there. Ireland is an EU member state, so CE marking and the EU General Product Safety Regulation apply. For passive, injection-moulded plastic cases with no electrical or radio function there is usually no sector-specific marking requirement at all, and it is the general product safety rules that your importer checks. We supply the technical file and the material declarations in any case.

How long does sea freight from Shenzhen or Ningbo to Felixstowe or Dublin take?

Typical industry transit from FOB Shenzhen or Ningbo to Felixstowe and London Gateway is 28-32 days on a direct liner service, and 30-34 days to Dublin, which normally routes through Rotterdam or Felixstowe with a short feeder leg. Add 3-5 days for UK customs clearance and import VAT settlement, plus the inland delivery. That gives roughly 35-45 days door-to-door for a UK consignee. Urgent samples travel by DHL or UPS in 5-7 days, and small urgent volumes can go by air in about 5-7 days door-to-door at a rate your forwarder quotes per kilogram.

Do you hold stock in the UK or Europe, and can you dispatch within a few days?

No. Kexin has no warehouse in the UK, in Europe or anywhere outside Guangdong, and we hold no regional stock. Everything is manufactured at our factory in Guangdong and shipped from there, so a restock order follows the normal production lead time. The 5-10 day express options are courier services for samples or small urgent quantities, not stock held in your region. If you need local availability, plan a buffer in your own warehouse or work with a distributor that carries your brands.

What are your payment terms, MOQ and sample lead time?

Standard terms are T/T 30/70: 30% deposit with the order, balance against the bill of lading. For orders above USD 50,000 we accept L/C at sight from a bank we work with. MOQ is 500 pieces per Pantone colour, sample lead time 7-10 days by DHL or UPS, and production 30-40 days after artwork approval for 1,000 pieces. Tooling for new moulds is quoted separately and is normally amortised over the first order. Quotation validity is 30 days because resin pricing moves.
