Frequently asked questions
Which Kexin case series should a racing team use for telemetry and data acquisition gear?
The 6-series and 7-series with CNC-cut foam-in-place inserts are the standard for data loggers, telemetry units, sensors and cabling. Typical external sizes from 500*350*200mm up to 900*600*400mm for multi-channel rigs, foam density 30 kg/m³ (EPE or PU), cut tolerance ±0.5 mm, and every slot laser-etched with its label. Specify 8-series Premium with IP67 and MIL-STD-810H if the same gear also sits in an open trailer or in the pit lane in wet weather. Data kit and personal kit ship in separate labelled cases.
Can a Kexin case be configured for helmets and HANS devices?
Yes. Helmet cutouts follow the shell profile with a 10 mm border, and a strap-down or elastic retention band fixes both helmet and HANS device so neither shifts during handling or a drop. One helmet per cutout stops shells from knocking each other. Helmet standards such as FIA 8860 or Snell govern the helmet itself; the case protects it in transit and does not certify it. Send the shell model with dimensions, or a measurement drawing, and we return the layout.
Do your cases really protect against vibration during road and air transport, and can I see the test data?
Foam-in-place inserts suspend each component instead of letting it rest on the case floor, and the ±0.5 mm cut tolerance keeps a unit seated through repeated vibration cycles. That is the mechanism; we do not publish a shock or vibration figure per customer project, so ask us for the test report covering your series and the drop height you need, supplied as a document. For open trailers add a strap-down point and, on hot-climate routes, a desiccant pack.
Can team livery, sponsor logos and race numbers be printed on the cases?
Yes. Silkscreen, pad print, heat-transfer film and an engraved plate carrying a race number are available on 6-series, 7-series and 8-series shells. MOQ is 500 pieces per Pantone colour and per logo, because a sponsor mark below that volume does not justify its own print setup. Sample 7-10 days after artwork approval, bulk 25-30 days. For a single race weekend or a test day, stock cases with a printed sleeve can carry the team identity instead.
Which Incoterms do you offer for teams shipping to Europe or the Gulf?
EXW Guangdong factory, FOB Shenzhen or Ningbo, CIF to a nominated port arranged through our forwarder, or DAP arranged through a forwarder. Under DAP the buyer remains importer of record and pays customs duty, import VAT and clearance. Kexin does not act as importer of record and does not offer DDP. Sea freight (LCL) 25-30 days to the EU; most teams use air freight at 5-10 days to resupply during a race weekend, with DHL or UPS samples in 5-7 days. No overseas warehouse: cases leave the factory or the port of loading.
