How long does sea freight to Bangkok take?

FOB Shenzhen → Laem Chabang Port (Thailand main seaport, 100km from Bangkok): 6-8 days direct (COSCO/Yang Ming). Inlands Bangkok via truck (1 day) or barge (2-3 days). Total 7-10 days door-to-door. Alternative: FOB Hong Kong (only 1 extra day) → Laem Chabang 5-7 days. For urgent under 5 CBM: air freight (5-7 days via Bangkok BKK or DMK), USD 3-5/kg.

Do Thai customers need a Halal certificate?

For protective cases (non-consumable plastic products), NO Halal certificate required. Halal certification only applies to food, beverages, cosmetics, pharma. Important for Thai customers: TIS (Thai Industrial Standards) for PP material — but voluntary. Main requirements are TISI confirmation for electrical components (if present), packaging with Thai/English labels including country of manufacture, HS code on bill of lading.

Does your ATEX/IECEx certification work in Indonesia?

ATEX/IECEx are EU/international standards. Indonesia generally recognizes them but requires additional SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) certification for electrical components. For pure protective cases (no electronics), SNI is not mandatory. Our cases with ATEX preparation can be sold in Indonesia without further certification for non-explosive applications. For Pertamina (Indonesian oil company), extended requirements (TKDN — Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri / Local Content) apply.

Do you ship to Myanmar and Cambodia?

Yes, with restrictions: Myanmar (Yangon Port) — currently limited liner service due to political situation; 18-25 days via Singapore transit. Cambodia (Sihanoukville) — no direct liner services from China; 12-16 days via Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh City transit, then barge up the Mekong. For both countries we recommend FOB Shenzhen + freight forwarder with local experience. USD payment preferred. Laos accessible only by land transport (via Thailand or Vietnam, 2-4 days additional).

Is there a preferred forwarder for Southeast Asia?

We recommend 3 carriers with strong SEA presence: (1) COSCO Shipping (China origin, excellent SEA coverage, online tracking in English); (2) ONE Network Express (formerly NYK) — strong in VN/TH/PH; (3) Yang Ming — good SG/MY connections. For air freight: Cathay Pacific Cargo (HK hub), Singapore Airlines Cargo (SQ hub), Cebu Pacific (PH domestic).
